Moose Concept Art

One major element of NHLToL is the concept art I post on an almost daily basis. No reason I shouldn't be able to do that here as well.

I was sent some artwork a while back designed with the Manitoba Moose in mind. It was created back when the club joined the AHL and plays up a lot of different ideas for what the logo and uniforms. might have looked like.

And if you were wondering if there was more where that came from. Oh yes, there is. Check it.

So look them over and pick your favorite. There certainly are a lot of options to choose from. Ultimately I think they hit the nail on the head with their current logo. That bad boy could hold its own even in the NHL if you ask me.

Anyway, the inaugural tournament begins here in just three days. I can't wait! It's looking like we're going to start with the AHL, but don't fret, the ECHL won't be far behind.

For a look at the logo pools, click here. That should pretty much be the final for each league. I think I've got all the proper logos there. If not, be sure to let me know. Enjoy your weekend and the upcoming tournament!

I live in Winnipeg and I watch the Moose play every season. Glad to see their logo in this tournament.

I don't know how well it necessarily works for the Moose, but I really like the look of that secondary (?) mark with the M and the maple leaf on the bottom left of the first image. I'm not sure how I feel about the font used for "Moose", but it's definitely a high caliber concept.
